Sarah
Sanderson
Sport and
the arts have always run throughout Sarah's life. From music scholar at
Bryanston School in Dorset, arts degree at Oxford Polytechnic and a diploma
in portraiture from Heatherley's school of Fine art in London, her flamboyant
style has evolved. Combining this with playing numerous sports, in golf
she has won seven county championships, represented England, Dorset, Berkshire
and currently Cornwall, whilst in skiing she has raced for the British
army.
She believes that sport is the ideal reflection of humans taking on physical
and mental challenges, often enjoying them and at other times battling
to succeed. Capturing theses moments on canvas is what drives her.
Working mainly to commission, Sarah's pictures hang in the Alps, Dubai,
US and London - from Boardroom to bedroom. Revelling in the sensuousness
of rich oil paint, her love of texture and colour finds its stage - be
it on land, water or in the air. If there is sporting action to celebrate,
Sarah will feel its rhythm.
